Designed for growth and performance, our athletic facilities help Miss Porter’s School athletes—and all our students—build strength, sharpen their skills, and develop habits that will last a lifetime.

Outdoor Spaces for Recreation and Competition

The Porter’s campus is home to four playing fields perfect for a wide range of outdoor sports. All our fields are well maintained playing spaces that support better, more predictable performance.

  • Cow Barn Field | Team: Softball

INDOOR FACILITIES

Our state-of-the-art indoor athletic facilities keep the Porter’s community moving year-round. They’re used for a wide range of sports as well as individual strength training, skill development and conditioning.

Pool and Squash Building

Our Pool and Squash Building has eight state-of-the-art regulation squash courts and an eight-lane 25-yard pool. The pool facility can accommodate up to 200 spectators. Teams: Diving, Squash, Swimming

Crisp Athletic Center

The Crisp Athletic Center houses an indoor track, fitness center, weight room, athletic training room and student lounge. The gym also includes multipurpose, NCAA-regulation courts that can seat more than 200 fans. Teams: Basketball, Volleyball

Gaines Dance Barn

Originally constructed in 1930, the newly renovated Gaines Dance Barn is home to our multidisciplinary dance program. The Gaines Dance Barn, equipped with Marley flooring, is a vibrant space for workshops, rehearsals and performances. In this bright and spacious studio, new and experienced dancers receive expert instruction and individualized guidance.
